Hi, I’m Kristi Glidewell!

I’m a Charlotte-based floral artist, wife, and mom of three creative kids who inspire me daily. For 23 years, I worked as a dentist, a career that taught me patience, precision, and a deep appreciation for quality. When neck and back pain ended that chapter, it gave me the chance to fully embrace another lifelong passion—creating art.

I am drawn to painting flowers because they simply make people happy! I love painting the stems, petals, leaves…all of it! Their vibrant colors, natural beauty, and fleeting nature inspire me to create pieces that would last forever. That’s where my tagline came from—Flowers That Never Die. Dying blooms can be a little sad, so I love that my work captures flowers at their most joyful and vibrant. Inspired by nature’s colors and textures-and encouraged daily by the love of my family-each piece I create is a celebration of joy, resilience, and timeless beauty. Each of my paintings is named after the incredible women, friends, and family who encourage me to keep creating.

Today, I create oil floral paintings and real-touch faux orchid arrangements that bring a “pretty little something” to the everyday. Whether you’re gifting, decorating your home, or brightening up a workspace, each piece is designed with love, intention, and a touch of joy.

When someone brings one of my pieces into their home, I feel deeply honored. I know it will continue to bring them beauty and happiness for years to come.
