Hi there! I’m a Charlotte-based artist, wife, and mom of three creative kids who inspire me daily. For 23 years, I practiced dentistry, a career that taught me patience, precision, and an appreciation for craftsmanship. When neck and back pain brought that chapter to a close, it gave me the opportunity to pursue another lifelong passion—painting.

My work is inspired by the beauty I encounter in everyday life. Sometimes it’s a quiet mountain view along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Sometimes it’s an heirloom porcelain tureen waiting to be filled with orchids. Other times it’s an elegant silk scarf spotted during a visit to Fort Worth that I can’t stop imagining as a painting. I love discovering ordinary objects and places that tell a story and reimagining them through oil paint.

Flowers remain at the heart of my work. Creating luxury faux orchid arrangements often inspires my paintings, and designing floral installations in beautiful vintage vessels has sparked entire collections celebrating chinoiserie porcelain, texture, and timeless Southern style. Whether I’m painting florals, landscapes, heirloom objects, or textiles, each collection begins with a moment that made me pause and appreciate the beauty around me.

My paintings blend contemporary realism with a distinctly Southern point of view, using rich color, expressive brushwork, and thoughtful composition to create artwork that feels both fresh and timeless. When someone chooses one of my paintings, I feel deeply honored. My hope is that each piece becomes part of a home’s story, bringing beauty, conversation, and joy for years to come.

A Note About My Titles
Every painting I create is named after a woman who has encouraged my artistic journey. Some are collectors, some are dear friends, some are family, but each has played a meaningful role in helping me believe this second chapter was possible. It's my small way of honoring the women who continue to cheer me on.
